Dr. Ted Wirecki | Denver Psychiatrist
I am a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in adult psychiatry and general wellness. Since I worked for many years as a business executive and entrepreneur, I have a specialized understanding of the dynamics and stresses facing executives, professionals and their families. I have effectively treated many executives from Colorado and around the country.
In my Denver Psychiatry practice I recognize that that every persons circumstances are unique and I initiate care with an in depth comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Information regarding health and illness, past medical and psychiatric treatments, work environment, family relationships, and wellness status is gathered, and blood tests and imaging studies are obtained if needed, in order to develop an accurate diagnostic impression and a treatment plan with a maximal opportunity for success.
Treatment is usually a combination of humanistic cognitive and behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology. Thoughtful medication management often improves symptoms of depression, anxiety and other problems, even if previously tried without good results. An improved general wellness status is essential to positive outcome.
Confidentiality is a hallmark of our relationship. Your treatment plan should not be determined and managed by third parties, but decided by you and I and kept very private. Our office exceeds customary standards for confidentiality.
If you are serious about getting help, let me offer you a brief phone consultation at no charge. This will help you decide if you are comfortable with me and help me to see if I am potentially the right person to treat you. This informational discussion is totally confidential and does not commit you in any way. So there is no confusion, this phone discussion is not a diagnosis or treatment and does not initiate or establish a doctor patient relationship.
For patients coming from outside of Colorado arrangements are made to complete the comprehensive psychiatric and wellness evaluation in one or two days. Lodging is available at preferred rates.
Psychiatric treatment is often complex. Experience and wisdom are essential in developing a treatment plan that realistically allocates resources to physical and emotional wellness. My commitment is to do whatever needs to be done to get you the best possible results, within legal, medical and ethical guidelines.
